Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and to read more about me. Hi, I am Glenn Flaherty. Private Instructor, recording musician. I have created the curriculum for several music schools, national chains, and even launched two private music academies. Being the co-creator and co-head instructor of The School of Music for 15 years, I now reside in Woodley Park DC instructing my wonderful community.

The fun part of music is playing what you want! Whether it be blues, jazz, classical, ragtime, country and beyond, I will help you grow. My time touring in rocking bands, bossa nova trios, and Nashville nights have given me the chops to show you the tricks and my years of instruction have given me the talent to explain it all in easy detail . So fear not! Together we will have a great time!

Expectations and Convenience
Expect to learn how to read and write music as well as how and why music works. What you learn will influence what you listen to, how you listen to it, and affect how you interact with the arts across instruments and many times across disciplines.

Schedule Classes
Scheduling classes is very simple. Together, we will find a time that works best for you and matches an opening in my teaching
schedule.
Classes are taught one month at a time, usually one hour per week but 30 minute classes are also available. Classes are offered Monday through Friday. Class prices vary depending on time of day.
